Klimahaus / Bremerhaven

ein ausgesprochen interessantes Museum (?) ...eigentlich weiß ich gar nicht recht, ob man es als Museum bezeichnen kann: es ist ein tolles Konzept, voller Fragen und Antworten, die den Blick auf unsere Welt um etliches erweitern
-zwischen Gletschern und Urwald, Wüste und Eis, zwischen Fischen und Sternen-
abgesehen von den Inhalten, ist die Gestaltung immer wieder überraschend - voller schöner Ideen, die manchmal auch ganz und gar minimalistisch sind... klasse !

(auch wenn es eigentlich gar nichts damit zu tun hat, war hier plötzlich die Erinnerung
an die Skulpturen von Wilfried Hagebölling
-noch einmal- da)

...und dann ein ganzer Raum voller Sterne und jeder der ihn betritt ist beeindruckt und wird ganz still.
ein fantastischer Raum !
auch wenn die Sterne in diesem Raum keine echten Sterne sind, die Assoziation ist absolut konkret.
was ist es, was uns so sehr am Anblick der Sterne fasziniert ? seit Jahrtausenden !
es scheint ein sehr essenzielles Gefühl zu sein:: alles tritt irgendwie in den Hintergrund, das Alltägliche, die Sorgen, Probleme ...alles wird plötzlich ganz klein mit der Erkenntnis, dass man nur ein winziger Teil eines großen Ganzen ist.
damit meine ich nicht Hilflosigkeit, ganz im Gegenteil : alles ist in ständiger Bewegung und Veränderung und wir alle können einen Beitrag zu diesem Ganzen leisten, denn jeder hat auch etwas zu geben...

...was mich an diesem Gediicht am meisten berührt ist die Tatsache, dass es im Welt-Krieg geschrieben wurde. wo stehen wir jetzt ? wo führt das alles hin ? wird denn die Gier - die Gier nach Macht - jemals enden ?

summer takes a break

...sort of a wet intermezzo, let's hope the warmth of sun will come back
and here is my intermezzo we performed two weeks ago
my friend Florence especially came from Berlin to take some shots (and the most beautiful  in the run before the main performance : they show much better the light & atmosphere in the vault and my idea behind); the show was successful, many people found the way to see it, thought for us it was an interesting experience dancing in the basement where the space was a little limited : lifting legs even higher to not hurt somebody...
decided to combine the different takes in the video (with and without audience) and
hope you can get a good impression ... enjoy :)

here is a small combination, it was just an idea at the beginning- unfortunately unrealizable :
..in our first meeting (in winter) to plan the this year's "Tanz OWL" i was very inspired by a special place - deep down in that monumental building: the source of river Pader (actually it's called warm Pader) and i thought it would be really interesting to dance in this water, but logistically it wouldn't work as a live-performance and the water is definitely too cold for dancing, brrr...
so i made this little video instead... though the combi is still a part of the dance... enjoy :)

diesmal bin ich ein bisschen spät, ich weiß, aber das Jahr ist noch jung und es ist noch nicht zu spät, es zu begrüßen
was ich wirklich wünsche - nicht nur für dieses Jahr, sondern überhaupt -
 ist Frieden !
...und Liebe, ja !
auch wenn das vielleicht banal klingen mag - in dieser Zeit, in der schon fast in Vergessenheit geraten ist, was das eigentlich ist,
... ich meine echte Liebe, denn sie ist die Basis für alles Wesentliche:
Vertrauen, Achtung, Mut, Hingabe, Freude, Inspiration, Kreativität, Offenheit ... und Frieden !
in diesem Sinne :  allen alles Gute für 2015

a fascinating place

built in the beginning of 12th century it grew in the next few hundred years to a rich and influential abbey. The space has an odd atmosphere of abandonment and even if you have the feeling nearly nothing remained from the primery power, it's a spellbinding place wich didn't lose its clear aesthetic and impressing beauty
